Kodiak is a beautiful, emerald island located in the central Gulf of Alaska. It offers some of the world's best remote fishing and wildlife viewing amidst spectacular scenery.

A mere 40-minute hop by jet from Anchorage, this 120-mile long archipelago remains largely undiscovered by tourists.

Besides the great fishing, there is a lot on Kodiak to entertain the traveler. People flock here to photograph the world-renowned Kodiak brown bear, the world's largest land carnivore.
